The SeaLife Sea Dragon 5000+ with Colour Boost is an underwater photo-video light for divers who want wide, even illumination and adjustable colour. Its 5,000-lumen output helps reveal detail in nearby subjects, while Colour Boost combines white and red light for a warmer appearance.
Lighting control underwater
Switch between 5,000, 3,000 and 1,500 lumens, with Colour Boost and red-only options. Advanced mode also offers a 6,000-lumen boost for up to two minutes before returning to the lower output. A single control button operates the light and selects its modes.
The light has a 90 CRI COB LED and a 120° beam above water, narrowing to approximately 90° underwater. Standard white light is approximately 5,000 K; the 5,000-lumen Colour Boost setting warms this to approximately 3,700 K.
Mounting and power
The supplied YS, Flex-Connect YS and 1-inch ball-joint adapters let you connect the light to compatible camera-lighting mounts. Check your tray and arm fittings before purchase. The removable rechargeable battery provides approximately one hour of operation at full power with Colour Boost.
