- Shuttle meets at King Shaka Airport at 10am
- Drive to Sodwana Bay
- Guests driving down can check in from 2pm
- Airport Shuttle arrival around 2pm
- Welcome drinks around 5pm by the pool
- Group dinner around 7pm
Saturday 8 August
- Early wake-up
- Beach transfers from 7am
- Dive 1 launch around 8am
- Packed beach breakfast
- Dive 2 launch around 11am
- Return to lodge around 1pm
- Afternoon at leisure
- Group dinner around 7pm
Sunday 9 August
- Early wake-up
- Beach transfers from 7am

The Reefs Of Sodwana
Nestled within the heart of the iSimangaliso Wetland Park, Sodwana Bay promises divers an unforgettable underwater adventure.
As one of the southernmost coral reef systems in the world, its vibrant reefs teem with over 1,200 species of fish and an astonishing variety of hard and soft corals, sponges, and other fascinating invertebrates.
Iconic dive sites like Two-Mile Reef and Nine-Mile Reef reveal a kaleidoscope of marine life and striking coral formations, ensuring that every dive feels like a brand-new discovery.

This tour will be hosted by Kevin Cook and the Sisodwana Lodge Team
The private lodge offers a comfortable catered base for the weekend, while the dive centre features new Zodiac-style boats with powerful 4-stroke outboards, giving the group a smooth and professional Sodwana diving experience.
Join us and enjoy Sodwana with friends old and new.
✈️ Important Flying After Diving Note
If you are flying home on Monday evening, we recommend doing your final dives on Sunday and not diving on Monday morning.
Guests who dive on Monday morning should either drive home or plan to fly on Tuesday 11 August or later, in line with standard flying-after-diving guidance for multi-day diving.
🎒 Divers Need To Bring
All divers must bring their own soft gear:
• Wetsuit
• Fins
• Mask
• Snorkel
If you do not have your own BCD and regulator, you can hire hard gear for R250 per diving day.
Gentle Giants
But it’s not just the reefs that will leave you breathless— if you are lucky, encounters with gentle giants like whale sharks will blow your mind and the ever-curious potato bass are the highlights of many dives here.
The reefs’ rich biodiversity offers the chance to spot everything from green turtles and electric rays to bearded scorpionfish, boxfish, and rock cod.
Above the surface, Sodwana Bay’s pristine beaches and the untouched beauty of the surrounding African bushveld create the perfect backdrop for an adventure that’s as thrilling on land as it is beneath the waves.
